Wei is an architect with over 16 years of experience in the programming, design and construction of institutional building projects. She has a keen interest in the challenges involved in realizing a complete built environment that reflects the philosophy and fulfills the mission of the institution.
Prior to joining Levien, Wei was a partner at Cooper Robertson and Partners, where she practiced architecture for 13 years. During that time, she worked on several prominent cultural projects including the new home of The Whitney Museum of American Art and MoMA QNS, a project which supported the expansion of the Museum of Modern Art. Her academic portfolio includes the Ethical Culture Fieldston School, Columbia University's new School of Social Work, and significant classroom and office renovations at various locations for The New School and the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College.
A dedicated advocate for her clients, Wei uses her breadth of knowledge and experience, as well as her abilities to work well with all stakeholders and foster teamwork, to lead projects to successful completion. Wei holds a M.A. in Architecture from Tulane University. She is a Registered Architect in New York State and a LEED Accredited Professional.
