Seaview Senior Living Center
Staten Island, New York

Seaview Senior Living Center (now known as The Brielle) is a residential complex on a ten acre portion of an environmentally sensitive site in central Staten Island. The project includes new assisted living facility building completed in late 2015 has 56 single and 56 double units for the elderly, with a separate community center that includes an outdoor pool. A historic cottage was also reconstructed for administration services and guest housing. The scope of work included new roads, sidewalks, utilities and landscaped areas. All of the new development is tightly clustered at the back corner of the site to preserve the majority of the site as open space. The project is sited on a parcel which has dual designations as both a landmark district and a special natural area district. Levien & Company was retained by the project co-developer, Seaview Senior Living Corporation, an affiliate of the non-profit Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty.
