New York City Center Theater
New York, NY

Levien & Company was hired as the Owner's Advisor for this $50 Million capital project to restore and modernize this historic theater, built in 1923 as an auditorium for the Shriners.  Highlights of the project include reconfigured seating in the main auditorium with improved comfort and sightlines; enhanced front-of-the house amenities; renovated lobbies and concessions; additional restrooms; a new, sprung stage floor; and upgraded backstage facilities.  The phased schedule ensured that there was no interruption of programs during construction.  The project has been awarded a LEED Silver rating.
