New York, NY

Levien & Company was hired to oversee the renovation of new 160,000 SF headquarters for GMHC (Gay Men’s Health Crisis) at 450 West 33rd Street.  The work included the construction of a dedicated lobby entrance with a new façade, stairs, and ramps, full modernization of an existing elevator for use by GMHC.  A new warming kitchen, dining and living room now serves the approximately 400 clients who participate in GMHC’s warm meal program each weekday.  The biggest challenge for this project was making sure that the work was completed and the move executed seamlessly so that GMHC clients did not miss a single day of services.
